2017 Cookbooks You’ll Want

The Taste SF reads through Sicily: Recipes from an Italian island cookbook by Katie Caldesi, Giancarlo Caldesi


San Francisco is filled with amazing restaurants and we’d be surprised if there was another city that inspired more cookbooks and culinary literature.

We’ve always loved flipping through cookbooks. Before Amazon (when there were tons of bookstores), a favorite pastime was to browse the cookbook section of the bookstore and try to decide on just one book to bring home. On a walk home from lunch, we noticed this Sicilian book in the window of a bookstore (above). We knew we had to have it. The photography is beautiful and we can’t wait to make a Sicilian specialty out of it.

That got us inspired, so we started browsing online for other cookbooks and found several that are coming out soon that you can pre-order.  There are a so many tempting ones coming out this Spring! We’re most excited to try our friend Kate’s new Burma Superstar cookbook released this week!.
